The pulse rifle, like all guns, has a secondary mode of fire. Guns such as the Pulse rifle and Rocket launcher let you devastate your enemies. This mode is also played in teams.Ī large variety of guns are available for use in the game. You must run through the enemies base, capture their flag and return it to your own base. Another mode, Capture the Flag, is played just like you would think. There are 3 locations and two teams, the more locations you control the more points you get. Domination mode has you on a team trying to control locations that generate points. Gun pickups, ammo, health packs and shields will help you control the arena and get the appropriate number of kills to win the match. In Deathmatch it is you against everyone else, no teams here. Several scenario modes let you experience all different types of gameplay. Morpheus turns down gravity and lets you jump impossible distances to perform flying kills.ĭeathmatch, Domination, and Capture the Flag Maps with special rules like the Morpheus map can change the normal gameplay you're used to. The arrow keys are the default movement keys and the mouse is used for aiming and shooting. The controls in UT are very simple to use. On top of the increasing difficulty you can set a master difficulty level that adjusts everything. In each scenario there are several maps that you can play and the more maps you finish the higher you will rank. As you progress through the levels you unlock the different scenarios allowing you to compete in those. You battle as teams or alone through a multitude of levels and scenarios. In UT you are competing for glory and your life.
